What this tool is
AgentMOT is an automated measurement tool. It requests a small number of publicly available files and pages from a website — the same responses the site serves to any visitor — and scores them against a published, versioned methodology for AI-agent readiness. It performs GET requests only, respects robots.txt, identifies itself honestly as AgentMOTBot, and stores nothing beyond the evidence needed to justify a score.
What a score is — and is not
- A score is a point-in-time automated measurement, generated by a specific methodology version on a specific date.
- A score reflects only what the checks measured on that day. Websites change; methodology changes; scores change.
- A score is not a statement about the overall quality, security, legality, reliability, or fitness for purpose of the business that operates the website, nor of its products or services.
- Checks that cannot be run (blocked, refused, rate-limited, or requiring authentication) are recorded as "unknown — not assessed" and never scored as failures.
Use of scores
- Scores are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional, legal, or commercial advice.
- If you share or quote a score — including a score of a website you do not own — you must quote the methodology version and date shown on the report, and you must not present the score as an assessment of the business as a whole.
- Do not use scores to disparage, misrepresent, or make purchasing, investment, or contractual decisions about a business without independent verification.
No warranty
This service and its outputs are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the service or its use.
Corrections
Every score ships with its underlying evidence. If you operate a website and believe a score is inaccurate, or you believe a check is methodologically wrong, contact us with the report's evidence bundle. Verified methodology defects are corrected openly and recorded in the changelog.
